Passion for Christ; Compassion for His Creation

First and foremost, Island Youth is about Christ.  Everything we do points to Christ!  We believe that our ministry starts and ends with Christ.  We respond passionately to what Christ has done.  We firmly believe that when we experience Christ, our lives change.  This change, which begins with a supernatural relationship with God, inevitably transforms all of our other relationships.  And this change continues as we continue experiencing Christ's work in our lives.  The change is radical.  The change is necessary.  To know, in the same moment, that we are ugly, sinful and undeserving, and yet infinitely loved by a Holy God demands change.  It changes the way we ultimately view His creation: we recognise that the love that frees us is the same love that mends His creation.  Because of Christ's love, we can passionately love Him and all that He has made.
